THIS BODY OF PAINTINGS CONTAINS IMAGES EVOCATIVE OF MY CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCES GROWING UP IN ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT. LITTLE GIRLS, DANCERS, HORSES AND ARAB WOMEN ARE PART OF MY VISUAL LANGUAGE. USING IMPASTO STROKES TO ACCENTUATE COLOR AND SHAPES I CREATE A SENSE OF MYSTERY OR SPIRITUALITY.
